2008 Legislative Wrap-Up
To wrap up this year’s legislative session, at the link provided below you will find a wrap-up of bill’s the association has supported, followed and/or reported on this session. You will also find reports and links to other information as the session came to an end. Unfortunately HB5497, HB5498, HB5102 and SB159 all died in the Appropriation Committee this year. Learn About the Legislative Process: Monday, May 19th
Deadline for sign-up is May 15, 2008 @ 2:00 p.m.
Come join us on Monday, May 19th for a free legislative training in our Rocky Hill office from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. We are honored to have Katie Martin, a long time veteran of the legislative arena, talk with us about demystifying the legislative process, including the lifecycle of a bill. You will learn how to access legislative information and what you can do as an advocate. A light meal and beverages will be provided.
