ALERT! Call Your Senator

Cuts in Medicaid funding is on the table. This puts an enormous burden on children currently enrolled under the entitlement Medicaid program, and the possibility of many children being cut from the program. The Medicaid program in Connecticut is known as HUSKY A and HUSKY B.

It is urgent that you call your Senator this week and ask him or her to oppose cuts to Medicaid and support an amendment that will eliminate these cuts. A budget resolution could come as early as next week (March 15) for a vote on the Senate and House floors. In the Senate there will be an amendment offered to eliminate cuts to Medicaid. This is why it is so critical that you call your Senators NOW!
