Statement of Purpose: To enhance the Medicaid program by: (1) Restoring presumptive and guaranteed eligibility, (2) eliminating recently enacted co-payment requirements; (3) restoring eligibility in the program for parents and needy caretaker relatives with income up to one hundred fifty per cent of the federal poverty level; (4) eliminating administrative and eligibility changes mandated by public act 03-3 of the June 30 special session; (5) expanding availability of smoking cessation treatment programs; and (6) establishing a demonstration project to improve the delivery of dental services.
