The U.S. Senate approved S.1932 (budget reconciliation bill) yesterday which still includes cuts to foster care assistance for abused and neglected children. Because the Senate made some technical changes, this may land back in the House as early as today for another vote. Call your U.S. Representative now and let them know how you feel about cuts to the child welfare system. To contact your Representative, please call the capitol switchboard at 1.800.426.8073.
