We Strive to Make a Difference

The Connecticut Association of Foster and Adoptive Parents makes a difference in the lives of foster, adoptive and relative caregivers by providing support, training, and advocacy. The Association works in partnership with child welfare professionals and the entire community to nurture child safety, well being, and stability.

Become a Foster Parent Call 888 Kid Hero

We work with DCF to find foster families who provide safe, caring homes for children while DCF and the courts plan for the children’s futures.

Training

Parents participate only in the modules that will best help develop their competencies.

Support

Helping to meet the unique needs of foster, adoptive and kinship care children by supporting their caregiver families. Along with
Advocacy & Outreach which aims to help develop communities that also support caregiver families.
